Waterfall Book

I started with Laura Denison Design Generation Album but made several changes.  I have posted the instructions and the pictures below.  I will have to say that making a pattern takes a lot of work!! I had do idea how complicated it is to measure each little piece and then post it all in an never ending document.  I now have a new found respect for anyone creating a pattern.  This is my first attempt at a pattern so I would appreciate any feedback.  I have just the basic design done and will decorate and update the post.  I also have designed pages on the backside of 6 of the pages so if there is an interest I can update the post with that information.  Please feel free to download my files here for the project.  Thanks again and I look forward to your comments!

TTP 2015 - Bo Bunny Somewhere in Time

Here is my first album with the new TTP 2015 and the new "slot binding".  I really am happy how this turn out and the new binding is really strong for pages with some weight.  After the addition of several pockets and inserts these pages get really heavy but the new binding is working well.  I would suggest that you mark each of the "fins" with a pencil mark so when you attach the pages they all line up the same.

This is the Hidden Treasure Cabinet from www.LauraDensionDesigns.com   My version is a little different.  I used Chipboard to frame the cabinet.  I used Tim Holtz Walnut stain and then applied Glossy Accents over that for a worn wood look.  Tip to self..... when applying Glossy Accents with your figures remember to immediately wash your hands .... that stuff takes forever to come off when it dries!  The chipboard allows you to make adjustment to the placement which is a plus to get each side to line up.  I also really liked the small shelves for little items.  I would like to make another "Beach Version" cabinet with sand from vacation spots in the little bottles and using shells from your trip on the shelves.  I think you could use a whitewashed paper for the outside and come out with a really cute cabinet.  Anyway these are pictures from my version.  Email me if I can be of any help.

Tag Swap

Here is my design for the Tag Swap for the Following the Paper Trail Event.  I opted for a "travel theme" tag.  I love to travel and noticed that the key cards for some hotels are a really nice keepsake.  Sometimes they have a real great logo and the name and location of the hotel.  I designed a tag with two facing pockets for business cards, hotel key cards are any other little keepsakes from your travels.  I have a 3X4 insert along with a 2 1/2 X 10 tag insert.  So between both pockets and the inserts you get a lot in one little tag.  Email me if you have any questions and thanks for looking!

My first official post!!!  I am now part of Laura Denison Design Team, and I though I would share part of the projects that I posted in my entry.  The first one is my version of a tri-fold album using the 2014 Turn the Page System.  I altered the deigns to fit a 7 X 9 size and I used "Kraft-tex" for the binding.  I am really pleased how this turned out.  Let me know if you have any question and I will be happy to email you back.  Thanks for looking!
